Marchelle Hunt was born in Northeast, Ohio where she currently lives. She has been drawing and painting since childhood but has recently become a full-time professional artist.
She is a hardworking artist and mother of two young adults. Drawing inspiration from life all around her, she enjoys bringing nature's beauty to life whether it’s a sunrise, a beautiful flower, a sunset, or one of nature's animals.
She is working on two series; the first, “Into the Woods” reflects the forest's darkness and spiritual beauty. The second series, “Nature’s Splendor” focuses on the floral beauty around us. She plans to travel to the Great Smokey Mountains this summer, inspiring another series as she explores the glory and wonder of the Tennessee mountain range.
Her ideas and sources are presented to her daily. She is often seen in a neighbor's yard snapping pictures while walking her dogs. She enjoys using inks, acrylic, oil paints, and other mixed media in her art. She is often compelled to paint a subject and fixates on it until the work is completed. She says her best work feels effortless. Marchelle says, “My artwork reflects the beauty in the world, which I love to share with everyone.”
